FIRE ESCAPE GARDENING AT SHANGHAI ALLEY

Shanghai Alley - the smallest garden in the entire world. And it's not even a proper garden - just a tiny little fire escape smack dab in the stinkiest part of town. Not only do the flowers have to deal with a blistering sun throughout the day, my poor garden is a magnet for predatory neighbourhood birds who hone in on this oasis and tear off bits and pieces of foliage to furnish their nests.

Christ, is it hot in here.

Duffet Productions is excited to introduce a brand new reality show this summer...Girls With Hoes starring Dr. Quack and Paps. The premise is simple and startling original - smoke a little weed and plant tender annuals in freezing temperatures. It's a whole lot of fun and sure to entice millions of dedicated viewers. The shakey 2 minute pilot screened at Cannes and various network junkets and was met with incredulous silence, which is a good thing we think. Rumour has it that HGTV is sniffing around and let's cross our fingers, but the queen of the lifestyle shows, Martha, has also expressed interest.
